Annual review — we prepare this pack
If the annual review was mishandled or you disagree with what was considered, we prepare a pack that sets out concerns and the changes you want considered — if a final amended plan is then wrong, you may need a separate contents or cease appeal within 2 months.
After the review meeting, the LA must notify you within 4 weeks whether it proposes to continue, amend or cease the plan (SEND Regulations 2014, regulation 20). If it proposes to amend, regulation 22 requires at least 15 days for your representations, then a final amended plan (or a decision not to amend) within 8 weeks of the proposed-amendments notice. A wrong final plan is appealed separately.
