I am requesting an EHC needs assessment for my child under section 36(1) of the Children and Families Act 2014. I believe my child has or may have SEN, and that it may be necessary for special educational provision to be made in accordance with an EHC plan (section 36(8)). Please confirm receipt and decide within 6 weeks (SEND Regulations 2014, regulation 5).
The final / amended EHCP remains outstanding beyond the post-review timescales. This is creating uncertainty about provision and is affecting my child. Please confirm when the decision / final plan will be issued and provide a dated response.
